Is this really free? What's the catch?+
Yes — the ACCESS program is fully covered by Medicare. You pay $0 out-of-pocket, and there are no hidden fees. Unika Health is reimbursed directly by CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) for providing your care.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?+
No. Unlike many traditional care management programs, ACCESS allows you to enroll directly. You don't need to ask your primary care doctor first. That said, we work closely with your existing doctors and will keep them informed with your permission.
Will this affect my current Medicare coverage?+
No. Enrolling in the ACCESS program doesn't change your existing Medicare benefits. You keep all your current coverage and can continue seeing your existing doctors as usual.
What if I have Medicare Advantage instead of Original Medicare?+
The ACCESS model is primarily for Original Medicare (Parts A & B). If you have Medicare Advantage, some services may still be available. Sign up and our team will confirm what's available for your specific plan.
Can I cancel or stop participating?+
Absolutely. You can withdraw from the program at any time by contacting us. There are no penalties or obligations. Your Medicare coverage remains unchanged.
